Fluid is a nice, lightweight and simple application turns any website into a standalone mac app in less than a minute (requires internet connection). It's extremely useful, just like having a bookmark (with the site's favicon) but loads much faster as it compiles the web site's script/source into the homemade app so all it has to load is the information.
