Java Runtime for OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion

Java runtime for 10.8 Mountain lion

If you previously downloaded the OS X 10.8 Mountain lion developer preview (version 1) over here
you will notice that for every developer preview after snow leopard apple drops support for java and java runtime and requires users to obtain the java runtime  themselves. so here is the java runtime for 10.8 mountain lion (it is ported from the 10.7 dev preview java runtime so if you still use the dev edition of lion, it works) so you can finally play Minecraft :) and other java apps

***Windows 8 DEV preview***

TRY WINDOWS 8 BETA 1 NOW!!! PLEASE READ ENTIRE ARTICLE BEFORE TRYING IT

The windows 8 dev preview for 32 and 64 bit computers is out and available for free download on windows developer site.  Please read the guidelines. I recommend installing this in a virtual machine like virtual box or parallels. The preview isn't designed to replace your windows xp, windows 7 or etc, as their are many unavailable features.

Their are quite some new features. the Desktop still retains a similar interface to windows 7, and apps still seem to load the same way as win 7 too. The apps that appear in the menu are known as "Metro Style Apps".

Go to windows 8 developer site here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/br229516

<----- Some pictures of the windows 8 start menu. It supports a few muli-touch gestures, though only one managed works ( using 2 fingers, like the mac to scroll the menu) but isn't as smooth. Click to enlarge.

Samsung also released a Windows 8 preview tablet, geared towards eager developers.

OS X Lion Developer Preview TORRENT

For those people that want to experiment with lion before buying, this pre-release version contains most features of lion. It is recommended to compare with the features of the mainstream released version as it's more polished.
